Parapet
Minimalism that transcends trends – from shapes to colors.
Parapet is a studio that brings contemporary interior solutions, with special attention to detail, comfort, and lasting value. Their work combines aesthetics and functionality, creating spaces that aren't just beautiful at first glance, but thoughtfully shaped for living.
The goal of this project was to create a visual identity that radiates elegance and simplicity, while staying distinctive enough to stand out in a competitive market. We wanted Parapet to remain recognizable whether it appears on digital platforms or in printed materials.
To bring the Parapet studio to life, we started with a modular approach to the logo — so it could easily adapt to different formats while always keeping the same strong recognizability. In fact, the logo itself is integrated into almost every icon we created.
A modular logo – just like modern modular furniture – adaptable and unexpected.
An abstractly shaped chair that merges seamlessly with the letter P, creating a symbol that speaks of interiors, comfort, and refined taste all at once. Simple lines bring a dose of modernity, the widened part of the P suggests comfort and warmth, and the gentle curves keep it from feeling strict. What's interesting is how a single shape produced a modular mark that reappears across Parapet's other visual details, like the icon set and the shapes used in promotional materials.
Two bold, eccentric colors in a color-block combination bring dynamism. The brand's blue is closely tied to the owner, who specifically wanted that shade woven in — which definitely turned out to be a good call, since it sets her apart from the competition and from the trend of beige minimalism. Meanwhile, the clean, legible typography preserves elegance and ease of reading. Fun fact: cobalt blue and muted orange, Parapet's primary colors, together promote calm and have a soothing effect on ADHD — so combining them in interiors themselves isn't a bad idea either. These are some of the new insights we touched on during our collaboration, and they inspired the creation of Parapet studio's unique communication plan.
The whole identity thus becomes a visual reflection of what Parapet brings to its clients — attention to detail, creating outside the box, design that transcends trends.
