Gifting with character – thoughtful, personal, and aesthetically refined.
When Jasmina and I started talking about her already well-known brand, it was clear why she wanted a rebrand. She has a firm vision of how she wants Bellus to feel, to sound, and who it's for. She knew her mission wasn't to be "just another trend." Her mission is to create that moment when someone first lays eyes on a unique object made just for them, and no one else.
Because Bellus isn't just a gifting brand. It's the art of giving with care and a story. The products themselves don't just say "gift" — they carry emotion, a personal touch, and thoughtfulness. My job was to translate that philosophy into the brand identity and to be the strategic support that guides and facilitates new ideas, so we could reposition the brand and bring it closer to an audience that doesn't give just anything to someone who means so much more to them.
For every new idea, we now have a ready-made solution.
The project wasn't just a logo redesign. The goal was to create an identity that tells the story of gifting through every visual element — from social media to printed materials like product hang tags, packaging, and catalogs.
Seemingly abstract, the letter B monogram hides carefully crafted symbolism: the asymmetry and variations in line weight suggest elegance and attention to detail, while the smaller organically shaped form recalls wood, resin, and wax — the materials behind the products. It's not just a mark, but a visual reminder of the process and the story behind every gift.
The chosen typography balances the classic and the contemporary. Together, the fonts allow for sophisticated yet approachable communication, perfect for a brand that nurtures a personalized approach.
The color palette conveys stability and emotion. Dark tones communicate reliability and elegance, while warmer tones bring femininity and emotional softness. Additional visual elements — tactile paper textures, an organically rounded pattern derived from the mark — ensure recognizability across all communication touchpoints and make the identity emotionally resonant, just like the gifts Bellus creates.
Every detail is now connected, strategically defined, and most importantly, adaptable to all the new ideas that come out of the Bellus atelier.
